Bothamley Park Learning story

Problem:

How can we look after and support our local park? How can I use my ‘voice’ to make a difference?

My Learning:

I noticed that the stream was polluted with rubbish like plastics and packets  (also an old motorbike, glass) so we could pick up all the rubbish to make the stream clean. I found out that there are heaps of different invertebrates like banded kokopu and dragonflies I feel sad because people just leave their rubbish lying around then it all goes in the stream. Now I will try to convince people to put their rubbish in the bin by making signs saying please put your rubbish in the bin or please pick up rubbish you see.
